Target to Give Out Free Charizard Codes for 'Pokemon Sun and Moon'
Players of "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will be in for a special treat, courtesy of Target.
According to Gamespot, the retail giant will give out special download codes for any player beginning Oct. 1. The 3DS codes equate to a free Charizard, which can be enjoyed up until Oct. 14.
Players can only get the codes in person from Target locations. Upon receiving the code, players should then input it via the Mystery Gift option on the main menu. Players just need to select the "Receive Gift" option followed by "Get with Code/Password" and then clicking "Yes." After successfully entering the code, players can already pick up their free Charizard from the deliveryman, found in any of the Pokemon Centers.
Being a Level 50 Pokemon, Charizard certainly brings a lot to the table. It knows several kinds of abilities like the Flare Blitz, Fly, Earthquake, and Dragon Dance.
Furthermore, Gamezone also reported that Target is slated to sell the new Charizard-GX Premium Collection on Sept. 24. The exclusive item is a Trading Card Game that comes with a Charizard-GX promo card and a collector's pin, to name a few.
Meanwhile, Nintendo confirmed in a recent Nintendo Direct broadcast that two new Ultra Beasts will arrive for "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon." The new Ultra Beasts were initially given code names: UB-Burst and UB-Assembly.
The first one sports a clown-like look, complete with a mix of different colors. The second one, on the other hand, has the look of a tower. UB-Burst can be found in "Pokemon Ultra Sun" while UB-Assembly can be encountered on "Pokemon Ultra Moon."
In addition, Nintendo also announced the Legendary Necrozma will play a bigger role in both the "Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon." In the first title, Necrozma merges with Solgaleo to transform into Dusk Mane Necrozma. In the second title, the Legendary fuses with Lunala to become Dawn Wings Necrozma.
"Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" come out on Nov. 17.
