Swift has been seen consistently with the 18 year old son of Robert Kennedy Jr. and Mary Kennedy over the past few months and their relationship has been getting steadily more serious over that time.

In other news, Swift recently released a track from her upcoming album "Red," which is scheduled to be released in October. Within only a few hours it was the top selling song on iTunes, knocking "Born This Way" from its top spot as the fastest-selling single in digital history.

As a treat to her fans, Swift opened up during a live web chat about where she drew the inspiration from for her upcoming album and revealed that her relationships over the past few years have been a roller coaster of emotions.

"I wrote a song called 'Red,' thinking about what that means to me … all the different emotions that are written about on this album, they're all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I've experienced in the last two years," Swift told fans.

"Spanning from intensive love, intense jealousy, confusion, those emotions are all red. There's nothing beige about any of those feelings, so I called the record Red," the singer added.

Swift is also known for hiding messages in the lyrics of her songs and revealed that it is a way of connecting more with fans by being able to connect on a level deeper than words.

"I thought I was much more cryptic and clever than I really was. It's pretty difficult to come up with them because I know that you guys are going to figure it out," she said. "I'm really excited about the fact that you guys care about lyrics. Hiding little codes in lyrics is kind of a way of encouraging that."
