'The Big Bang Theory' Season 7 Spoilers and Predictions
Hit CBS comedy "The Big Bang Theory" is returning with new episodes for it's seventh season in late September. The network recently released a description of the season premiere, which has fans engrossed. Check out the description below.
"'The Hofstadter Insufficiency' and 'The Deception Verification' –- Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) share intimate secrets while Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is away at sea, later, Sheldon's feelings are crushed when Leonard returns," the description reads. "Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) gets consoled about his ex-girlfriend and Wolowitz's (Simon Helberg) relationship with his mother causes an unusual threat to his masculinity. Regina King returns as Mrs. Davis, the University's Director of Employee Relations, and Kevin Sussman returns as Stuart, the comic book store owner."
Many fans wonder how much longer "The Big Bang Theory" will be able to remain on the air, as seven seasons far outlasts the average sitcom. But rest assured, those involved with the show see a long future for Sheldon, Penny, Leonard, and the rest of the cast.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon, recently spoke to Emmy Magazine about the show's future.
"Not to make any predictions whatsoever, but as far as the lifeline of most shows, the seventh year, you're past the halfway mark. I personally don't feel like we've told half the stories that these characters have to tell. It doesn't feel to me like we're halfway through. I'm certainly not done working with all of these people," the actor said.
Parsons also commented on how the large appeal of the show should ensure a long future.
"We seem to be a bit of an anomaly in that we're holding on to a sizable audience, and it doesn't fluctuate," the actor said.
