The Game Issued With Restraining Order Amid Tiffney Cambridge Assault Investigation
The Game has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex-fiancee Tiffney Cambridge after she successfully obtained a restraining order against him.
The rapper, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is currently being investigated for domestic assault against Cambridge and on April 2 a judge granted her a restraining order. Game, 34, has been granted weekend visitation with the pair's two children pending the investigation, according to TMZ.com.
On Friday fans of the "Marrying The Game" star were shocked to hear reports claiming he repeatedly punched Cambridge, 38, in the face during a dispute which allegedly took place on March 19. The schoolteacher reportedly claims that her nose was broken and her eye socket was injured during the incident, however, Game has since denied the allegations.
"I don't want to give fuel to these false accusations, but the truth will definitely come out," Game said in a recent statement. "I am always looking out for my children's safety and have never laid a hand on Tiffney."
Cambridge has not publicly denied the domestic assault reports and instead she recently shared a series of cryptic posts on Instagram. Perhaps the most telling post is her response to a friend's text message about the truth prevailing.
"All I needed to see… Thank you Jesus. Thank you to my family, friends, & supporters.. Nothing more to be said or explained," she captioned alongside a screenshot of the text relating to the bible verse Isaiah 49:25.
Another cryptic post reads: "I Thank God For Protecting Me From What I Thought I Wanted & Blessing Me With What I Didn't Know I Needed."
The couple have been involved on and off for nine years, and their relationship woes are often played out on their reality TV show.
Earlier this year Game fueled split rumors when he blasted "Basketball Wives" star Tami Roman and accused her of "ruining my family."
"I hope you and that d--- b---- blue burn in hell for ruining my family!!!!! Ya'll f------ with the wrong n----!!!" Game wrote on Roman's Instagram page. "Go ahead and block me & erase this b----!!! That ain't gonna change nothing or what I'm about to do!"
