'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 16 Spoilers: The Tribulation With Rayna Continues
After that lengthy hiatus, The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 finally returns to the small screens with a brand new episode directed by series star Ian Somerhalder. In the midst of the excitement is the ominous warning that the hour might see one of the characters say goodbye.
Titled "Days of Future Past," the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic says that Damon (Somerhalder) will attempt to set things right with Stefan (Paul Wesley) by magically transferring the latter's scar to him. However, things will quickly turn for the worse when they discover that doing so may result to some "unexpected consequences."
Spoiler report for those who missed "I Would For You," it was found out that Rayna (Leslie Anne-Huff) has eight lives. If by chance she will be killed for good, those who bear the scar from Phoenix Stone sword will die as well.

What the Armory did was to lock up the huntress which saves Stefan from apparent danger. However, a series of promo pic shared over at Melty.com for the upcoming episode 16 reveals that Rayna has broken free from the Armory's enclosure. Determined more than ever, Rayna sets out once again to continue her task.
This is really bad news for everyone in Mystic Falls. In fact, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor-director teased that something huge will take place in the episode which might give "heartbreak" to the viewers.
"This car blew up and I was 200 feet away and I could still feel the heat and the percussion from this thing," he told EW. He further explained, "The audience isn't going to get the blast that I felt. What they're going to feel is real heartbreak for why that explosion happened."
