The U.S. Open 2012 tennis tournament continues towards its climax on Saturday with the men's semi finals. Andy Murray vs. Tomas Berdych, and Novak Djokovic vs. David Ferrer can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Coverage of the semi finals began at 11 a.m. ET and will see Andy Murray have the chance to make the final, and perhaps take advantage of the fact that two of the world's top three players have been unable to make it this far in the tournament.

Rafael Nadal's injury meant he did not even travel to New York for the U.S. Open, and Roger Federer, touted to be Murray's opponent in today's semi final was shockingly knocked out by Tomas Berdych in the quarter finals.

Murray could see this as his best opportunity for grand slam glory so far. He will be confident following his overwhelming victory at the London 2012 Olympics where he won the gold medal after beating Federer in straight sets in the gold medal match.

The British tennis star described that victory as the biggest in his career, and boosted his confidence in front of a packed Wimbledon crowd.

However, if Murray is to make his second U.S. Open final he will have to succeed where Federer failed by beating Berdych. Berdych displayed his full range of ferocious groundstrokes to defeat World No.1 Federer and if he is in the same form today then Murray will have his hands full, and have to be in top form to come through.

Analysts have already pointed out that Berdych holds a 4-2 record against the Briton, and will fancy his chances at another top scalp.

Meanwhile in the other semi final Djokovic will be hot favorite against Ferrer. Ferrer showed his battling qualities to defeat Janko Tipsarevic in an epic last eight matchup.

By contrast, Djokovic's path has been very smooth Having cruised in the first four rounds, the second seed received his first real test in his quarterfinal against Juan Martin Del Potro. However, he still came through powerfully and has still not left a set in the tournament to date.
