  A mayor died in a wasp attack while on vacation, and now her constituents, friends and two children are mourning her, according to reports. Lucie Roussel, mayor of La Prarie, Quebec, was stung multiple times Sunday and her life was cut short at 51 years old.

  Elizabeth Ramsey, stepmother to 10-year-old Johnathan Ramsey, was convicted Wednesday of starving the young boy to death in April of 2011. She and the father of the boy, Aaron Ramsey, fed him military rations of bread and water, then stuffed his lifeless, emaciated body into a sleeping bag and dumped him in an Ellis County creek bed.

  A boy was dragged to death in his mother's car after it was stolen by carjackers in Boksburg, South Africa Saturday night at about 7:30 p.m. Taegrin Morris, 4, was ripped from his mother's arms because he got tied up in the seatbelt of her VW Golf, and the thieves sped off with him still in tow.
