Angelina Jolie Graces Cover of Vanity Fair

Inside the October issue of the Vanity Fair magazine, Angelina Jolie opened up about her life, directorial endeavors, and the potentiality of a future wedding for her and longtime partner Brad Pitt.

She told Vanity Fair, “I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment.”

In addition, Jolie also put to rest speculation that she and Brad Pitt are planning a “secret wedding.”

In the magazine interview, the 36-year-old actress and mother of six also opened up about her experience as a writer and director of her new film “In the Land of Blood and Honey.”

The actress held that the experience of being behind the camera, and having a movie made through her own words, made her feel “more exposed” than ever.

She added the new screenwriting and directorial experience has caused Pitt to believe that Jolie is going to be a “nightmare” in her future acting endeavors due to her lack of patience and newfound experience behind the camera.

The Vanity Fair comments come out on the heels of an important day for Jolie and the international community.

Last Friday marked the first day of the landmark trial against Thomas Lubanga, a Congolese warlord that is being charged with the recruitment of child soldiers to fight in the Congo's brutal civil war.

Jolie attended the first day of the trial at The Hague and called the trial “an extraordinary moment for international justice, but more than that, for the children of the world.”

Meanwhile, in other Jolie news, it looks as though the relationship between the humanitarian megastar and her estranged father, Jon Voight, is on the mend.

Voight was spotted with his grandchildren and his girlfriend enjoying a sunny day and some ice cream at a Los Angeles park.

Voight and Jolie had a falling out several years ago over comments Voight made about his daughter reportedly saying that she has some “serious mental issues.”

The comment came shortly after Jolie adopted her first son Maddox.

Jolie responded to the verbal attack arguing, “They could have decided he’s right, she’s crazy, let’s remove that child from her custody, and that’s unforgivable.”

However, with Voight watching the kids while Pitt and Jolie work on other projects, the family seems to be tighter than ever following the 2009 reconciliation that got the estranged father and daughter talking again.
