'Anger Management' Makes Debut Thursday
Charlie Sheen will be reintroduced on primetime television with the premiere of "Anger Management" on FX tonight.
The comedy series is based off of the 2003 film of the same title and sees Sheen star as Charlie Goodson, an anger management therapist and former athlete with emotional problems.
Advertisements for the new series boast the tagline, "Everyone deserves a 24th chance."
Sheen took to Twitter with anticipation of the show on Wednesday.
"On my way to the FX premier party and really [excited] about the future," wrote the actor. "Anger Management is something for all of us to be proud of!! xo c"
"Tonight's the night," added Sheen on Thursday. "FX 9pm thank you!"
Twitter users are also sounding off about their thoughts on the television series' premiere tonight.
"I can't wait to watch Anger Mangement," posted Ike.
Some users even mentioned Sheen's past role on CBS's "Two and a Half Men." The actor was fired from the show after a public meltdown in 2011.
"I bet 'Anger Management' will be better than the new 'Two and a Half Men," wrote Bee.

"Anger Management" stars Sheen, Shawnee Smith, Danielle Bobadilla, Michael Boatman, and Selma Blair.
Additionally, Sheen's real-life ex-wife Denise Richards agreed to appear on the television series.
The series premieres at 9 p.m. EST on FX.
In a recent interview, Sheen said "Anger Management" will likely be his last project.
"Thirty years in, I mean come on," said the 46-year-old actor speaking to Fox News. "There's this whole ton of stuff to do that involves my children and the rest of my life that's not about like worshipping fiction."
