Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore Divorcing; Chelsea Handler Sounds Off

Comedian Chelsea Handler had something to say about the recent news of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's split on CNN's Piers Morgan Live.

Morgan said it was "pretty obvious to everybody" that the divorce arose because of media rumors over the past few months that Kutcher has had extramarital affairs.

"I don't know them personally very well, but I think it's pretty obvious that they probably had a lot of open marriage-type situations," said Handler.

When Morgan incredulously asked if she really believed that, she responded, "Well, yeah. I think they probably had a lot of good times with some other women. They probably had a lot of threesomes that led to twosomes without Demi and that leads to a divorce."

With all joking aside, however, Handler said she feels bad for Moore over the split.

"I absolutely feel for her," she said. "I think a lot of people make big mistakes a lot of times in marriage … I'm a big proponent of valor and honor and valuing what you have in a relationship, or someone else, and being true to that and to yourself at the same time."

In a statement last night, Moore, 49, announced the divorce to the media.

"As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life...This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation," the actress said.

Kutcher tweeted, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."
