'Asura's Wrath' Release Date: Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed (VIDEOS)
Several retailers have now disclosed its pre-order bonus items for Capcom's upcoming game, "Asura's Wrath."
Capcom and several well-known retailers are making pre-order deals available.
"Fans who pre-order 'Asura’s Wrath’ at Amazon.com will earn the Devastator Pack. This includes two additional gauges in the game that allow the player to reduce damage taken by Asura, and fill his Unlimited Rage Gauge faster,” said Capcom.

"The Infinity Pack will be the reward for pre-ordering at Best Buy. Featuring the Extinguisher Mode and Zealot Mode, the Infinity Pack gives players the ability to recover more quickly from overheating due to heavy attacks and prolongs the player’s time in Unlimited Rage Mode,” Capcom added.
Those who pre-order “Asura’s Wrath" at GameStop will receive an exclusive combination art and comic book. Written and illustrated by the crew at Penny Arcade, the "Asura’s Wrath" comic book takes a 'what if' look at Asura and how he would deal with everyday situations, according to Capcom.
"The flipside of the book features a collection of concept art straight from the developers at CyberConnect 2. With illustrations of the Asian mythology and Sci-Fi inspired universe that makes ‘Asura’s Wrath; truly unique, the ‘Asura’s Wrath’ art and comic book is sure to please any fan,” Capcom explained.
"Asura's Wrath" lets players take control of a former deity named Asura. After the betrayal done to him by his fellow Gods and the death of his family, Asura attempts to take vengeance on those who have wronged him.
The game will comprise of action and adventure game play, along with epic "Quick Time Event" boss sequences.
Kasuhiro Tsuyachiya, the game's producer, said the game "takes elements from Asian mythology and blends them with science fiction. In the game, Asura is a demigod fighting to reclaim his daughter from the deities who kidnapped her and banished him from earth."
"Asura's Wrath," developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Capcom, will release on Feb. 21, 2012. It will be playable on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The game is rated "T" for "Teen."
