Ben & Jerry's '30 Rock' Ice Cream Unveiled Thursday

Ben & Jerry's has announced it will celebrate "30 Rock" by unveiling an ice cream flavor inspired by the hit television series as the final episode airs on Thursday.

As the eighth and final season of the show starring Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin wraps up on Thursday, the ice cream company will offer "30 Rock" fans something else to look forward to. Ben & Jerry's co-founder Jerry Greenfield will unveil a new flavor named after "30 Rock" during the season finale party in New York City.

Ben & Jerry's normally waits until the spring to unveil new flavors, and although it has not yet released the details about what the "30 Rock" flavor contains, all will be revealed on Jan. 31. The special flavor will be available in Ben & Jerry's shops in February, with grocery and convenience stores to follow suit.

As for Tina Fey's future, the actress revealed her plans for following the season finale of "30 Rock."

"I am going to London in March to film the next 'Muppets' movie … and I'm hopefully shooting a movie called 'Mail Order Groom' this summer with Steve Carrell," revealed the creator and star of "30 Rock," to Us Magazine.

Fey added that she might have another television series on NBC in the "next couple of years."

Meanwhile, Thursday will mark the first time Ben & Jerry's has honored Fey, but Thursday's unveiling will be the second ice cream flavor inspired by "30 Rock" star Baldwin.

The Vermont company, well known for its cleverly titled flavors, has "always been about having some irreverence and having some fun," Ben & Jerry's spokesperson Sean Greenwood told Time magazine.

Furthermore, Greenwood told The Christian Post that every decision made at Ben & Jerry's revolves around part of their motto, "If it's not fun, why do it?"

Past noteworthy flavors at Ben & Jerry's include "Holy Cannoli," named after Will Ferrell's "Saturday Night Live" skit. It featured vanilla pistachio ice cream, mascarpone cheese, and cannoli pieces.

"Pulp Addiction" intimated 1994's film "Pulp Fiction" and contained orange ice cream with orange flavored brandy liqueur.
