Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon Marriage Officially Announced
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 20-year-old daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, has officially confirmed that she has married longtime family friend Nick Gordon.
Brown took to her Instagram account to make the announcement, after over one year of the pair announcing their on-and-off again engagement.
"#Aviary@nickdgordon! #HappilyMarried• SO#Inlove," the daughter of Houston and singer Bobbi Brown wrote on Instagram. "If you didn't get it the first time that is.."
She went on Twitter to elaborate further on her marriage.
"Nothing is ever official until it's done under the eyes of god (SIC)," Brown wrote. "@nickdgordon much love!"
The actress and aspiring singer revealed that the pair were planning a ceremony in the near future.
"Don't think 4 a sec that a ceremony isn't in store this year …," she tweeted. "They're will be a wedding & a gorgeous1at that (: #nomoredetailstho!..It feels good to be happy yeah?"
While some media outlets have claimed that Houston adopted Gordon and called him Brown's brother, the daughter of the late singer took to Facebook to previously set the record straight about their relationships.
"I'm tired of hearing people say eww you're engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this," Brown previously wrote on Facebook. "Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him."
Brown went on to reveal that her mother predicted she and Gordon would one day make their relationship romantic.
"In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you," Brown wrote in the Facebook post. "A lot of yall are saying that y'all are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy. (SIC)"
