Calabasas Mayor Talks 'Breaches Of Peace' Concerning Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has been causing a stir in his Calabasas, Calif. community recently and now the mayor is speaking up about it.
Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian singer, was accused of egging his neighbor's home in the community where he lives, which has recently prompted a police investigation into the matter. Law enforcement officials raided Bieber's home and were looking to find any proof that the singer vandalized his neighbor's home with eggs.
The singer has prompted complaints in the past for reportedly speeding in his neighborhood and the noise level coming from his home. Mayor Fred Gaines admits that it is a good thing to have the famed singer living in Calabasas, but admits that the betterment of the community is better than just one pop star's happiness.

"...The fact that a talented international musician like Mr. Bieber chooses to live in Calabasas is certainly a feather in our cap and a tribute to our safe and beautiful community," Gaines told The Los Angeles Times recently. "But the peace and privacy of our residents is the city's top priority. We have unfortunately had a number of breaches of the peace related to Mr. Bieber and his residence, and the sheriff has acted appropriately in addressing those incidents."
Bieber's neighbor who accused the singer of egging his home spoke to E! about the incident.
"It was about 7:30 p.m. and I was in my house upstairs with my daughter. We began to hear something hitting the house, like rocks and things crashing into the window," the neighbor told E! "We went to our outside balcony and saw [Justin] standing in my front yard, ripping eggs at my house."
Things seemed to get more intense after the neighbor confronted Bieber.
"I screamed at him, he yelled back at me, said, 'Yeah I got another one for you,' and threw more eggs. Then I called the sheriff," the neighbor told E!. "Obviously my daughter was very frightened having eggs thrown at her. It was unprovoked, as I have not seen the kid in months, so I have no idea what prompted him to do this."
