Chris Bosh's Injury Sidelines Him Indefinitely for Heat; Fans React
Chris Bosh, 28-year-old Miami Heat power forward, is out indefinitely with a strained abdominal muscle.
Bosh, one part of the "Big Three" that was created with Lebron James and Dwyane Wade two seasons ago, suffered an injury during the first game in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
The forward underwent an MRI exam on Monday that confirmed the strained abdominal muscle. Although Bosh's teammate James received an MVP trophy this season, the team was relying on the 28-year-old injured star to help keep Pacer's big man Roy Hibbert at bay.

Although James and Wade were able to handle the job to defeat the Pacers in a 95-86 Game 1 victory on Sunday, some are questioning whether they can complete the series or postseason without Bosh.
Some did not want to believe that the Heat would be without one of their "Big Three."
"Don't say that," one person tweeted after hearing about the news of Bosh being sidelined.
With the possibility of Bosh out of the playoffs for the Heat, some questioned the possibility of the team winning a championship.
"If Chris Bosh is out for the playoffs, Heat fans better not expect to win the NBA championship," said another commenter.
However, others only saw Bosh's injury as an excuse for the Heat to use if they did not win a chip.
"I really wish Chris Bosh didn't get hurt, that's going to be the excuse this year for why Lebron didn't win the championship," said a Twitter user.
Some questioned whether Heat coach Erik Spoelstra would be able to make adjustments with Bosh out of his lineup.
"I'm going to be real interested (to see) how Coach Spo handles this Bosh situation," a fan said on Twitter.
Still, Spoelstra said he had faith in the versatility of his team.
"We have great versatility with this group and a collective resolve regardless of what happens and that was a good indication in the second half (of Sunday's game)," Spoelstra said after Game One against the Pacers.
