Dancing With the Stars Results: Heated Moments, Chaz Bono May Go Home
Broadway Week on “Dancing with the Stars” left the show’s viewers in awe.
Monday night’s episode featured a performance by Kristin Chenoweth; intense arguments with the judges, surprising scores, the first group dance, and Chaz bono and dancing partner Lacey Schwimmer were placed in jeopardy of elimination for tonight's episode.
Bono and Schwimmer, consistently dragging on the scoreboard, earned 19 out of 30 points for their tango Monday, the lowest score of the night.
J.R. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff tied with Ricki Lake and Derek Hough for the highest score of the night, earning 29 out of 30 points. This is Martinez’s second week at the top, making the actor a strong contender for the championship title.
Professional dancer Maks Chmerkozskiy, in a heated moment, disagreed with the judges’ appointed score of 20 for his Rumba with soccer star Hope Solo.
Nancy Grace surprised the audience with dancing partner Tristan MacManus, earning 24 points for their Foxtrot, named a “showstopper” by Judge Carrie Ann.
The 7 remaining stars took to the dance floor, in the grand tradition of Broadway, and danced to “Big Spender” and “Money Money” for their first group dance. The performance should help “Dancing with the Stars” fans decide who will go home next.
The most popular contestants, according Twitter, were reality television star Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke, whom earned 22 points. Kris Kardashian, Rob's mom, also stopped by the show beforehand to remind her son to work hard.
