FIFA 2014 Not Included with all Xbox One Pre-Orders
Last week Microsoft announced that all Xbox One pre-orders would come with a free copy of FIFA 2014, and now the gaming company is clarifying just exactly what they meant by that.
The initial message by corporate VP Phil Harrison said, "all pre-orders for Xbox One this holiday will include a copy of FIFA 14 at no extra cost."
Microsoft has come out and said that information was false, and only the day One addition of the Xbox One will come with FIFA.
"Had a few questions on this so wanted to clarify: FIFA 14 will only come free with Xbox One Day One Edition pre-orders, while stocks last," Tweeted Graeme Boyd, Microsoft social marketing manager said.
Xbox One's are already sold out across the boards so the option to get FIFA 2014 is probably over already.
The new FIFA game is offering a slew of new features including legendary players in Ultimate Team Mode. Freddie Ljungberg, Ruud Gullit, Pelé, Patrick Vieira and Gary Lineker are just some of the names included in the game.
Another bundle option in the works gamers will include Call of Duty: Ghosts, reports the Guardian.
The Xbox One release date has not officially been announced yet, although many rumors have been floating around.
According to CBS news, many felt Microsoft held out on the Xbox One's release date so they could wait until Sony struck first, so they could rebuttal with a sooner date.
Kotaku had a conference call with Walmart employees who said Microsoft sent them screenshots of the Xbox One console with a November 8 release date although it did not say confirmed on the sheet.
