3. Donald Trump's personal life has been anything but simple. A father to five children from three highly publicized marriages, Trump has been a tabloid favorite for a long time. His first marriage was to Czech national Ivana Zelníčková with whom he had three children – Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. In 1990 Ivana, who was responsible for nicknaming Trump as "The Donald", divorced him after his affair with actress Marla Maples hit the tabloids. Trump then began a relationship with Ms. Maples and married her in 1993, months after she gave birth to his daughter Tiffany. They got divorced in 1999 after which Trump began his relationship with current wife Melania Knauss whom he married in 2005. Donald and Melania Trump had a son in 2006 whom they named Barron Trump.
