7. After teetering on the brink of entering the political arena for years, Donald Trump announced his bid to run for American presidency in 2015. Speaking from Trump Tower on 16 June 2015, Trump cited issues such as illegal immigration, offshoring of American jobs, the U.S. national debt, and Islamic terrorism as the reason behind his decision to run for Presidency. He also unveiled his slogan "Make America Great Again" at the speech.
