'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Cast Grows: Bobby Campo and Heather Hemmens Added to Cast
Making their "Grey's Anatomy" debut, actors Bobby Campo and Heather Hemmens will appear in the season 10 premiere of ABC's hit medical drama.
Campo, best known for his role in the SyFy series "Being Human," will play a character named Brian on the premiere, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Brian is a young fireman who comes to aid the cast during a large accident. It is unclear if Brian will be a recurring character, or just appear in the season's first episode.
This is a big year for Campo, as he is also has a recurring role in Showtime's upcoming show "Masters of Sex."
Heather Hemmens will also be a part of the "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 premiere. She will play Campo's fiancé, a police officer who also plays a role in investigating the large accident.
Hemmens is best known for her work as Alice Verdura in the CW's cheerleading show "Hellcats." She also currently plays Darci on Tyler Perry's television show "The Have and Have Nots," and has had a role in the feature film, "The Dukes of Hazard."
The season premiere will not just be the debut of Campo and Hemmens, it will hopefully provide some answers to the cliffhangers of season nine. In particular, fans are eager to discover the fate of Dr. Richard Webber. It's not clear if he is alive or dead. But it seems nobody at Grey's Anatomy is going provide answers about Webber's state before the fall premiere.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, executive producer Shonda Rhimes discussed the Dr. Webber question.
"I love that people are asking [if he's alive or dead] … "I'm not going to answer it because I like that it's a question, Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly.
