The update is rolling out in stages so it might take a few days before it hits your device.

This same update was made available to users in the U.K. during the summer of last year and can also be downloaded in many other regions.

The HTC One X+ launched back in Nov. of last year and is the predecessor to the company's 2013 flagship the HTC One.

AT&T first announced that it would be releasing this device in Oct. 2012 and also confirmed that it would launch with two other HTC smartphones: the HTC One VX and HTC Windows Phone 8X.

The HTC One X+ comes equipped with a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 2,100mAh battery with six hours more talk time, 64GB of storage, and Android 4.1, JellyBean with HTC's custom Sense 4+ out of the box.

HTC is currently working on the successor to the One handset which is rumored to be called the One+ following in the footsteps of this older model which was preceded by the One X. The new flagship is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 805 processor, dual-rear cameras and a 5.5-inch display that has qHD resolution.
