Jenelle Evans of 'Teen Mom 2' Second Arrest in One Week (VIDEO)
Jenelle Evans of MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” has been arrested yet again. This makes her second arrest in less than one week for the young mother. This makes her fifth arrest in less than two years.
Reports state that Evans was “charged with Domestic Violence Protection Order Violation last night. She spent the night in jail and had a first appearance in court this morning. Her bond was set at $1,000 secured. Her next court date is set for Feb. 6, 2012. She is facing 75 days of active jail,” Attorney Dustin Sullivan said.
The charges stem from an initial domestic violence protection order granted to Evans’ former roommate, Hannah Inman. The two had a falling out, which led to a war of words on Twitter and Facebook, as well as a physical altercation. Inman filed charges, and Evans was arrested on Jan. 10. New charges allege that Evans attempted to contact Inman via phone and Internet.
Evans has admitted to having a problem with drugs and alcohol and briefly entered a rehabilitation facility. She was arrested three months later for violating parole; until this month she had been clean and living a quieter life, focusing on school and her son, Jace, who is currently in the custody of Evan’s mother.
A new episode of “Teen Mom 2” airs tonight on MTV.
