Jennifer Love Hewitt Pregnancy Work Out Makes Waves
Jennifer Love Hewitt is not letting her pregnancy get in the way of her fitness this week.
The "Client List" star and her fiancé Brian Hallisay are expecting their first child together sometime this fall.
On Thursday, heavily pregnant Hewitt was spotted working out with a yoga ball as well as weights with her trainer in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly.
The 34-year-old has made no secret of her passion for fitness during her pregnancy.
"I've been doing yoga and some Pilates and working out with a trainer, doing cardio and weights and stuff so my arms are strong to hold baby," said the star speaking to Us Weekly last month.
Hewitt and Hallisay, also 34, met on the set of the short-lived television series "Love Bites." However, the actors were reunited on the set of "The Client List," which just wrapped its second season on Lifetime.
The pair reportedly got engaged while vacationing in Europe in May. It will be the first marriage for both actors. Hewitt has been previously linked to John Mayer, Jamie Kennedy and ex-fiance Ross McCall.
Meanwhile, exercising while pregnant is perfectly safe and healthy, however, some expectant mothers require more rest while others rely on exercise programs, according to ABC News.
Regardless of pregnancy, Hewitt has always stuck to an exercise regime.
"I'm an actress, I live in L.A., I work in Hollywood," the star explained to Women's Running magazine before her pregnancy. "But I've learned that if you're too skinny, they'll say something about it. If you're not skinny enough, they'll say something about it."
The former "Party of Five" star said working out helped her embrace her curvier body.
"I just try to feel good in my own skin as much as I can," she added.
Although Hewitt said her workout routine includes yoga, Pilates and running on an incline, the actress noted that participating in marathons is a passion she learned from her late mother, Patricia, who died one year ago.
"I enjoy running, but she was a runner," the actress recounted. "She loved it and was able to go miles and miles. The first time I did a big run was the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Los Angeles [in 2010]. It was a blast- I absolutely loved it."
