Justin Bieber Pays Homage to Mother Pattie Mallete On Twitter

Justin Bieber is making it clear that he loves his mother, amid media speculation surrounding his controversial behavior.

Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian singer, was accused of assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto, arrested for a DUI and questionable driving in Miami, accused of egging his neighbor's home and pictured performing questionable acts with strippers recently. Aside from his legal woes, Bieber has been linked to numerous women and accused of lewd acts like urinating in a prison cell.

Still, Bieber has been focused on making music and tweeting about the experience. However, he recently took a break from tweeting about his work to pay homage to his mother, Pattie Mallette.

"@justinbieber: i love my mama @pattiemallette," Bieber tweeted recently to which his mother responded, "Awwww :) I love u too. Xoxoxo."

Bieber's antics have caused many to reach out to the budding talent both publicly and personally. Even the First Lady, Michelle Obama, imagined putting herself in his mother's shoes.

Mrs. Obama was questioned about Bieber in a recent interview with Univision Radio host Enrique Santos. She made it clear that she believed Bieber needed love and attention during his troubling times.

"I would pull him close. You know, I don't know if it would be advice as much as action," Obama told Santos. "I would be very present in his life right now. And I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what's going on in his head, to figure out who's in his life and who's not, you know."

However, Mallette is not quick to address her son's personal behavior while making her media rounds.

"He wants me to continue to respect his boundaries and my relationship with him," Mallette told The Advertiser last year. "Everybody has their own opinion and everybody wants to sensationalise everything."

Still, the Christian mother, who had Bieber when she was a teenager, spoke about her approach to parenting concerning her son.

"You have to sort of let them make some of their own decisions," she explained. "Me, personally, I would love to be with him all the time and to be able to ground him and deal with his problems and do all of that stuff, but at some point the parenting style changes. I hope to still be a respected voice in his ear."
