Justin Bieber's Alleged Maternity Scandal Still Unresolved?

Justin Bieber made headlines last year when Mariah Yeater claimed that he was the father of her child and although she reportedly settled out of court, the accuser's lawyer is not ready to let the 18-year-old singing sensation off the hook so easily.

According to a New York Daily News report, Yeater's attorney Jeffery Leving has yet to receive results from DNA tests that Bieber was supposed to take last year. Yeater reportedly settled with Bieber outside of a courtroom after filing legal papers claiming that he fathered her child.

In November of last year, Leving confirmed that a DNA test would be conducted outside of the public eye in a New York Daily News report saying, "We're working out a DNA test confidentially."

However, Leving reportedly told the publication that he has yet to see Bieber's test results.

"I have not seen [Bieber's] DNA test results or had them scrutinized. If there was a first test, and I have no documentation to say there even was, I wasn't provided with the results," Yeater's attorney told the newspaper. "I have not had my demands for an independent DNA test carried out by Mr. Bieber."

However, Bieber insisted that he underwent DNA testing in an interview that aired on "The View" last year, saying he "wanted everything to be out there in the open."

After Yeater dropped the lawsuit last year, Bieber took to his Twitter to speak out against the woman who claimed he had fathered her child after a Los Angeles concert performance in 2010.

"Dear Mariah Yeeter [sic]...we have never met...so from the heart I just wanted to say.." Bieber tweeted before posting a link to an audio clip from comedy movie "Borat" in which the title character repeatedly says "you will never get this!"

A source close to Yeater told the Daily News that the single mother has been a target of death threats and that she was seeking closure from the situation.

"For the last year, she has been the victim of death threats, derision and distasteful treatment," the Daily News source reportedly said. "Being a single mom is tough enough without being caught up in one of the biggest scandals in pop music."
