K. Michelle Reveals Song About Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson

K. Michelle, singer-songwriter and former star of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" who is moving to the New York version of the series, recently revealed that she wrote a song about former NFL player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

The singer recently revealed that a song called "Damn" on her upcoming "Rebellious Soul" album was written about the football player.

"Anybody that I date, I write a song about them. 'Damn' is actually about Ocho," K. Michelle said on "The Russ Parr Morning Show" recently. "And it's just saying 'I ain't got time for that!' Can't do it."

K. Michelle, born Kimberly Pate, had the Twitter world abuzz earlier this year with rumors swirling about her dating Johnson. The former football star made headlines for physically assaulting his ex-wife and reality television star Evelyn Lozada last August and K. Michelle has been vocal about being a victim of a past abusive relationship.

Last April she revealed the context of her relationship with the former NFL star was not what many assumed it was.

"I would never date Ocho. Not saying he's a bad person or anything," K.Michelle told New York City radio host Angela Yee previously. "I want him as my friend and I wanted a pet monkey and we found this monkey. He was trying to buy me some shoes for my birthday."

Although the singer said she was surprised that the athlete actually purchased a real pet monkey for her, she acknowledged that his past with women made her uninterested in pursuing anything romantic with him. During the first season of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" K. Michelle alleged that she was physically abused by her ex-boyfriend and music industry executive Mickey "Memphitz" Wright.

For that reason, the reality television star said she feared getting involved with the likes of Johnson.

"He's a really good person but it's kind of a scary situation for me. My fans were showing they weren't pleased with that," K.Michelle told the Power 105.1 fm radio host Yee. "But he's a cool guy, he's going to be my friend. But a love connection ... too many (expletives) issues."
