Kelly Clarkson Defends Pink: 'Name One Person That Has Her Schedule'

Kelly Clarkson has voiced support for fellow singer Pink and jumped to the latter's defense via social media this week.

After Pink was forced to cancel a performance in England due to an illness and was unable to reschedule, Twitter trolls launched into a tirade against the singer.

Springing to Pink's defense, Clarkson took to Whosay with a message to Pink as well as her fans.

"@pink how dare you only work 364 days this year," started the Grammy Award-winner. "I can't believe you got sick. That never happens to anyone… ever. You're so lazy."

Clarkson's sarcasm was also applied to long hashtags such as "name one person that has her schedule," "sing while flying," "and is a mom."

"Seriously people," the singer continued. "Tired of seeing everyone giving her crap. We're all human, Relax."

Pink and her husband Carey Hart have a 2-year-old daughter Willow. The singer is best known for her hit songs "There You Go," "Get the Party Started" and "So What," among many others.

Pink was not the first celebrity Clarkson has risen to defend. Following the controversy over Beyonce's lip-synched performance during the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, the "American Idol" alum addressed the naysayers while speaking to the radio station Mix 104.1.

"She lip-synched the hell out of that," said Clarkson who also performed during the event. "That's like a skill in its own."

Today, Clarkson is busy planning her upcoming wedding to Brandon Blackstock.

"Brandon is my manager's son," Clarkson once explained to the Daily Mail of her fiancé, who is the stepson of Reba McEntire. "I've known him for six years but he was married. Then, suddenly, there he was at the Super Bowl and he was single."

The "Stronger" singer also revealed a few details about her upcoming nuptials. While the wedding date is unknown, Clarkson and her fiancé are planning an outdoor and "earthy" wedding this summer, according to People magazine.

Moreover, Clarkson reportedly asked good friend and fellow singer Blake Shelton to officiate the wedding ceremony.

"He's not only singing, he's marrying us," Clarkson revealed during this year's Academy of Country Music Awards, according to Entertainment Tonight. "He totally is, he's done it before with people."

The bride-to-be even referred to her friend as "Reverend Blake," and noted that Shelton is also officiating the wedding of a bandmate of his wife, Miranda Lambert, of the Pistol Annies.
