Khloe Kardashian Determined to Get Pregnant to Save Marriage?
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly eager to have a baby in a bid to save her marriage to Lamar Odom, it has been claimed.
The 28-year-old reality TV star and her husband of three years have been struggling to conceive for several months and a new report claims that Kardashian is now determined to visit her fertility specialist again to try and get pregnant. Kardashian and Odom, 32, are reportedly facing ongoing marital woes and she reportedly believes that having a baby will ease their problems, according to Life & Style magazine.
"She wants to have a baby in hopes of saving their marriage," a friend allegedly told Life & Style. "It's so clear Khloé and Lamar are having issues, even if Khloé doesn't want to own up to it."
In October a source denied a Star magazine report which claimed that the couple was heading for a divorce, telling HollywoodLife.com that they "couldn't be happier."
In December, it was claimed that the NBA star has become so unhappy in his marriage that he has begun to stray with other women. As a result Kardashian is said to be even more determined than ever to conceive.
"If Khloé gave Lamar a baby now, she thinks it would really solidify them, it would create an everlasting bond. A baby would cement them," a second friend said.
"She knows that her odds right now aren't good so she'll definitely go back to the fertility specialist," another source said. "She will keep it more secret than before."
In June, it was revealed that Kardashian was undergoing fertility treatments at the ART Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills after struggling to conceive naturally.
The couple's fertility struggles, which became a recurring theme on their former E! Reality TV show, reportedly began to add immense strain to their marriage in 2012. In May, they announced that they were axing their hit show "Khloe & Lamar," and many suspected that the pressure to get pregnant likely influenced that decision.
"We just wanted to prioritize a little. We just wanted a little pause, [now] there's less pressure on us. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support," Kardashian told People with regards to the show's cancellation.
