Kim Kardashian Confirms Baby Clothing Line?
Kim Kardashian recently confirmed that her 4-month-old daughter North West has inspired her and her sisters to create a line of clothing for babies.
Kardashian, the 33-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star and co-owner of Kardashian Kollection clothing with her sisters revealed their plan to expand their brand.
"I think a baby line is what's next for us, and we definitely would have a lot of experience with what we would need to make that line a success and we're excited about it," she revealed on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" recently.
Kardashian previously revealed that she and her fiance, rap mogul Kanye West, have put some serious thought into the clothing choices for their daughter.
"I think North looks cute in light colors, and then I want to wear light colors," Kardashian told London's Sunday Times recently. "North doesn't typically wear pink, though. She wears mauve or blush, not, like, typical baby pink."
West, the 36-year-old rap mogul, spoke about Kardashian sharing his affinity for fashion recently which may have carried over into their choices for their daughter.
"She's been spending her whole check on clothes since she was 16, just like me," West told San Francisco radio station 106 KMEL recently. "And that's the reason why both of us are the most influential…I think me and my girl are extremely influential greatly due to the paparazzi."
It seems the pair's influence carried over to Paris Fashion Week where North was gifted with high fashion clothing from coveted designers. North was given clothing from Lanvin, a leather dress from Alexander Wang, a mini white lab coat from Maison Martin Margiela, a custom Bambi tee from Givenchy, sweaters and snakeskin slip-ons from Céline, according to People.com.
Lloyd Klein, the Canadian designer, previously said he believes North West could be a "great poster child" for children's clothing. He spoke about his hopes to work with Kardashian on a future line of kids clothing.
"I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," Klein told Confidenti@l in L.A previously. "It is very cute to design for babies... soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy."
