Lamar Odom's Ex Liza Morales Unsure if Khloe Kardashian Is 'Good Maternally'
Liza Morales, cast member of new TLC reality television series "Starter Wives Confidential" who also serves as the mother to two of Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom's children, recently shared her feelings about his wife of three years, Khloe Kardashian-Odom.
Although Morales and Odom broke things off after their third child died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, she still co-parents with the NBA star who is also in the public eye for being married to reality television star Kardashian.
While Kardashian has been vocal about wanting children of her own on her reality television show, Morales recently said she is unsure about the television star's abilities to do so.
"I don't know if she's good maternally, I don't know. As long as my kids are good, I'm good," Morales said in a New York Daily News report.. "As long as my kids are taken care of and I haven't heard anything negative, then I'm good."
While Morales said she has heard that she bears a likeness to Odom's current wife, she does not agree with that assessment.
"I'm 100 percent Puerto Rican and I was here first. I was here first, so she has a resemblance to me. I don't see it. We both have dark hair. We both have a cherub face," Morales said in the New York Daily News. "I don't think we look alike, but I have heard it. Imitation is a form of flattery!"
Still, Morales did not hesitate to admit that co-parenting with Odom in the Kardashian household was no easy feat.
"I feel like I'm with my kids 97 percent of the time. They see their dad on holidays and the summer. It's a constant job to raise kids," Morales told Bossip.com. "I have a teenage daughter and it's always going to be a constant battle dealing with a family that's so public and so known and followed. That's definitely hard."
Despite the challenges, Morales said she works hard to provide positive examples for her children.
"I feel like I constantly have to show my kids, not just do what I say but through my actions. And hopefully when they look back when they're older they'll appreciate that. But for right now I just have to keep that balance," she told Bossip. "That's what's important to me, show them that balance. There's nothing really that I could do. Lamar is their father and he married into that family. My kids are going to be there for as long as he's married and I just have to worry about me, how I am as a mother and how I present myself out there."
