LeBron James Tired of Michael Jordan Comparisons After Making NBA History?
Michael Jordan would beat LeBron James in a one-on-one game, according to many NBA fans, but the latter does not seem happy about the comparison.
Jordan, NBA hall-of-famer, who acquired six championship rings in the league, is considered "the greatest basketball player of all time," according to the NBA.com encylopedia. When 28-year-old Miami Heat guard James made history on Tuesday by becoming the only player in NBA history to score at least 30 points and shoot better than 60 percent from the field in six games, comparisons between the two arose again.
The Twitter account for daily sports news television show SportsCenter, decided to pose the question, "Who wins a game of 1-on-1 in their prime: MJ or LeBron?" After encouraging fans to vote on the answer, SportsCenter revealed that 66 percent of basketball fans that participated in the vote believed that Jordan would best James during his prime.

Magic Johnson, NBA hall-of-famer, who once played with Jordan decided to take to Twitter to weigh in on the debate.
"Easy answer MJ all day, every day!Michael Jordan is a 6x Champion 6x finals MVP and one of the most unstoppable forces this game has ever seen," Johnson tweeted. "If MJ and LeBron played 1-on-1 10 times, MJ would win all 10. MJ is the ultimate 1-on-1 player!"
However, James did not seem to want to take part in the comparison.
"I'm not MJ, I'm LJ," James tweeted on Wednesday, one day after NBA fans voted.
Still, the player opened up about how he felt to make history in the league.
"I'm at a loss for words," James said after making history and besting the Portland Trailblazers Tuesday. "Like I say over and over, I know the history of the game. I know how many unbelievable players who came through the ranks, who paved the way for me and my teammates. And for me to be in the record books by myself with such a stat – any stat – it's big-time."
