Paramedics were called around 10:15 a.m. when the actress, who is currently shooting the Lifetime film "Liz and Dick," in the Marina del Ray area of Los Angeles was found unconscious in the penthouse of the Ritz-Carlton.
Paramedics rushed to the Ritz-Carlton hotel but ultimately determined nothing was wrong with the actress and that she was simply in a deep sleep, according to TMZ -- but other news sources are claiming that the actress was in fact rushed to the hospital.
NewsCore has reported that the 25-year-old actress who has captured media headlines for abusing alcohol and drugs "was rushed to the hospital" after paramedics arrived on the scene.
RadarOnline also reported that the actress was in the hospital, but said that Lohan was fine and that "she will be released soon."
Lohan has yet to send out any messages on Twitter regarding the incident.
Sources told TMZ that the actress, who will portray icon Liz Taylor in the upcoming television film, had been working endless hours on the set and hadn't slept for days.
