Mario Golf: World Tour's season pass will give gamers three DLC expansion packs for only $14.99.
The game will launch on May 2 for the 3DS, and will include 10 courses and 126 holes. The DLC will add another six 18 hole courses for an additional 108 courses reported Polygon. Also, these DLC's will be released one at a time with two courses and a new character.
The DLC's will be $5.99 individually, and will also be available to gamers to try out first. Mario Golf: World Tour is only $30 as well, making the game a great deal even with the DLC included.
According to Polygon, the first DLC is called the Mushroom Pack, which will come with Toadette. The next is the Flower Pack with Nabbit. June will feature the Star Pack with Rosalina.
Early customers who buy both the game with the season pass will get a special Gold Mario playable character. Polygon reported everyone will be able to get Gold Mario once the three packs are out.
In other Nintendo/Mario news, a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle is rumored to be on the way.
Game Blog is reporting an anonymous source claimed a 32 GB Deluxe Wii U console is on its way with a copy of Mario Kart 8 and a free week long trial of Wii Karaoke U. It will be the regular price of $300, meaning Mario Kart 8 is free with the console.
Nintendo has not confirmed this rumor themselves, but here is a picture of the proposed bundle.
