Nene Leakes Speaks Out Against Wedding Lawsuit
Nene Leakes, the cast member on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," who recently remarried her ex-husband Gregg Leakes, is speaking out against reports of a lawsuit filed by a wedding planner who claimed that the television star did not pay for her services on the recent nuptials.
Tiffany Cook is a wedding planner who filed a lawsuit in Georgia for over $1 million owed to her for coordinating Leakes' wedding, according to TMZ reports. However Leakes' is vehemently denying Cook's allegations.
The reality television star took to Twitter to tell her side of the story recently.
"Now u know True Entertainment paid 4 my wedding! I don't have no money!# hunni," Leakes exclaimed. "I need 2 stop frontin! My 15mins is almost up I gotta go (SIC)."
Leakes spoke about possibly being scammed by the woman who claimed she was owed money. However, the reality television star did not seem afraid to enter a courtroom to sort out the issue.
"Hunni Atlanta has more scam artist than reality stars! Everybody looking 4 a pay day," Leakes tweeted. "This mess is so fraudulent I can't stop tweeting! Imma bout 2 lay my clothes out 4 the first day of court (SIC)."
After Leakes' rant about the matter, she insisted that she wouldn't address the matter again.
"Ok it's out my system," Leakes tweeted. "I won't b saying anything else abt it! I love u tweeting pies (SIC)."
Leakes, the 45-year-old Hollywood actress, was married on June 22, but fans of the reality television star will be able to witness the nuptials next fall in her upcoming show, "I Dream of NeNe." The nuptials took place in Atlanta, Ga at the InterContinental Hotel in a $1.8 million event.
Leakes said her ceremony was much better than the first time she married Gregg.
"Both of us want this, so it will definitely work this time. I know exactly what I'm getting myself into," Leakes told Life & Style magazine recently. "It was more romantic this time than the first, Gregg and I are real adults, so it was better."
