Pokemon X and Y Code Includes Character to Be Featured in Upcoming Film
Three mysterious Pokemon appear in Pokemon X and Y's code and one of them will be a character in the upcoming movie based on the series.
The latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro reports that a Pokemon known as Diancie will be in the new animated film "Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie." This pocket monster is a rock-fairy type and there is no word on how it will be distributed at this time. A tie-in event with the movie will most likely be the adopted strategy to make this happen.
The other two Pokemon found in X and Y's code are Volcanion and Hoopa. They could also make an appearance in the movie.
A new guide for Pokemon X and Y that discusses transferring Pokeman using Bank and the Tranporter apps is now available.
IGN.com recently updated this guide and details the Pokemon Bank app, which was released recently. See it here.
The application allows users to upload and store up to 3,000 Pokemon to the internet, manage them and download them to any of the Pokemon X and Y games. The service requires an annual $4.99 fee and a free trial period for Pokemon Bank will be available from Feb. 5 until March 14.
The app can be downloaded onto the 3DS and can be used on any physical or digital copies of Pokemon X and Y at any time after users obtain their Pokedex in the game. Users can then use Pokemon Link to receive Pokemon in the game.
Pokemon Bank will come with another app labeled Poke Transporter that allows users to upload Pokemon from Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 to the Pokemon Bank. This transfer can only be done by bringing Pokemon from older games to X and Y, not vice versa. Users will not be able to download Poke Transporter without Pokemon Bank.
