'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Spoilers: 'More Meaning and Eventual Closure'
With the summer finale of Pretty Little Liars over and done with, many fans are eager to hear what happens next. The finale left viewers with a strong indication that Ezra was the one who killed "A," but is it true? Executive Producer Marlene King provides some insights, but be wary of spoilers ahead.
Marlene King recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the "Pretty Little Liars" summer finale, and the implications for the rest of season 4.
Though Ezra seems to be the one who killed A, many fans are wondering if it is true. King was fairly tight lipped on the issue.
"That I can't answer, and I don't want to answer. We knew coming into this because of the Toby reveal and eventually finding out that Toby was working for the greater good, as we call it, that some fans would latch onto that idea for Ezra, and others will latch onto the idea that he is Uber 'A,' and that's what 4B is about; it's about unraveling that story and giving it more meaning, and eventual closure," the executive producer said.
King went on to discuss how deeply she expects fans to get into the mystery of whether or not Ezra was A's murderer.
"Every frame of footage on our show - the littlest thing of drawing an A behind Ezra on the board or a letter or a map - our fans will screen grab everything, and now they're putting all of the pieces of that puzzle together today," King told Entertainment Weekly.
