Prince Harry's Nude Partying Prompts Thousands to Salute Him Nude

Prince Harry may have caused a stir when his nude photographs surfaced after he spent time partying in Las Vegas, but now the 27-year-old has sparked an Internet meme among naked soldiers.

After pictures of Harry in the nude surfaced on the Internet earlier this month, thousands of British soldiers showed their support by joining a Facebook group in his honor called "Support Prince Harry With a Naked Salute!" Thousands of people supported the group with comments and posted pictures of naked soldiers saluting the prince.

"Show your support to Prince Harry & cover your crown jewels," one person wrote on Facebook, prompting others to send naked pictures saluting the prince.

Another person posted an image of himself giving the prince a naked salute, saying that the media was tarnishing the name of Harry with the rumors about him partying on holiday in Las Vegas.

"My name is Adrian and I live in Brazil (I'm Brazilian), I think the press of the world is rotten and are ruining the name of Prince Harry support this community and I want to wish my best wishes for success and solidarity with Prince Harry," another person wrote on the social networking website.

While others wore their military accessories to prove that they were soldiers who were saluting the prince, a Royal Palace source called for the privacy of Harry in a People magazine report.

"He didn't do anything unlawful," the palace source reportedly told People. "What he did was entirely his own business."

The former head of royal protection services, Dai Davies, agreed with the source's publication and told People that Harry is an adult who can handle his own business.

"Harry is a big boy now," Davies told People. "He knows the rules, but he thinks, 'I'm going to do whatever I want.'"
