Real Housewives' Teresa Giudice Apologizes After Caroline Manzo Threatens to Quit
Teresa Giudice has apologized to her "Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-stars following reports that two members have threatened to leave the show because of on-going feuds with the mother of four.
"Things have gotten out of hand. I want to accept responsibility for the things I did wrong. I'm truly sorry," Giudice told In Touch Magazine.
The reality TV star, who once said that she considered her co-stars Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita as close as family, was embroiled in a vicious verbal attack with the two last year which prompted both of them to consider leaving the Bravo reality show altogether.
"Jacqueline is so sick of all the lies and the backstabbing that [she] wants out," an insider told Reality Weekly.
"Caroline wants out too. She thought being on a reality show would be fun, but it's just been drama, lies, deception and scandal," the source added.
The 39-year-old insists that she wants to move forward even after her very public blowout with her other co-stars, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and cousin Kathy Wakile, explaining that her charity work on "Celebrity Apprentice" helped her put everything in perspective.
"All of this drama seemed insignificant after I was exposed to people with real problems," Giudice said.
Giudice has also been involved in an on-going dispute with her brother Joe, who is married to Gorga, and the 32-year-old recently blamed Giudice for trying to ruin their eight year marriage.
"Joe told me his sister said to him that 'I would leave him for a richer man.' I wish he never told me. Why would she ever say something like that?" Gorga wrote on her Bravo blog.
"What is she trying to say -- I only love him for the money? Oh, because he's not handsome, charming or sexy? He's not an amazing husband and father? Money is all he has going for him? I don't think so. I have been married for almost eight years now. I have three beautiful children with this man [Antonia, Gino and Joey]," she added.
Gorga is said to be demanding more money from Bravo executives which has led to fresh arguments.
"There is now a lot of fighting going on about money - who deserves the most and who doesn't," a source said.
"Melissa wants more money because she feels like she doesn't get paid enough to deal with all the damage that's been done to her personal life."
