Real Housewives' Teresa Giudice Was Paid $6,500 for Apology

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice was reportedly paid over $6,000 for written apologies to her reality TV co-stars, it has been revealed.

On Thursday, it was reported that the mother of four was ready to put her ongoing feuds with both friends and family behind her, but it is now believed that she was paid in exchange for her written apologies, according to The Huffington Post.

"Why send a private letter when you can have In Touch deliver the news to everyone?" an In Touch editor told Huffington Post. "It's so emotional to read that Teresa missed her friendship with Jacqueline and that she has nothing but love in her heart for Kathy. It's a fantastic story that any magazine would love to have as an exclusive in exchange for only $6,500."

Viewers of the hit Bravo reality TV show were stunned when the 39-year-old apologized to her co-stars just as her co-stars Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita threatened to leave the show as a result of the vicious cat fights.

"Things have gotten out of hand. I want to accept responsibility for the things I did wrong. I'm truly sorry," Giudice told In Touch Magazine.

Giudice has been embroiled in nasty feuds with both Manzo and Laurita, who she once considered family, as well as her other co-stars, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and cousin Kathy Wakile.

Manzo and Laurita, who are both original cast members, are reportedly so fed up with Giudice that they're willing to walk away from the show, according to Reality Weekly.

"Jacqueline is so sick of all the lies and the backstabbing that [she] wants out," an insider told Reality Weekly.

"Caroline wants out too. She thought being on a reality show would be fun, but it's just been drama, lies, deception and scandal," the source added.

Now that it has been revealed that Giudice was paid for her written apologies, some viewers have begun to question her sincerity.
