Rihanna Fast and Furious With Paparazzi?

Rihanna has given paparazzi in Hawaii a taste of their own medicine while vacationing on the beach over the weekend.

Constantly followed by cameras, the Barbadian singer saw similar treatment on the tropical island in the Pacific. One aggressive member of the media was so keen to get a shot of Rihanna that he ventured into the water where the 24-year-old was swimming.

It was then that the "Talk That Talk" singer approached the cameraman and grabbed his camera.

"Me high jacking the PaPz," Rihanna posted to her 18 million Twitter followers after the incident.

The singer included a photo of herself wearing a cowboy hat a bikini holding a camera. The incident was all in good fun, as Rihanna later went on to pose with the photographers and share drinks with them.

"What is life when u make the Papz get in the water and take shotz," Rihanna added to Twitter along with a second photo of several people posed on surfboards in the ocean.

The Grammy Award-winning singer is well known on Twitter, where she often posts messages keeping fans updated. Tuesday, Rihanna posted a picture of herself in New York City with the caption, "Its…. East side!!!!"

Rihanna released her latest album, "Talk That Talk," earlier this year and has also kicked off an acting career. The singer will make her acting debut in "Battleship," which is set for release May 18.

Additionally, news broke Tuesday that Rihanna will appear in "The Fast and the Furious 6." The sixth installment to the film franchise will begin production later this year.

Rihanna will make a cameo appearance in her friend Katy Perry's documentary "Katy Perry: Part of Me," which hits theaters on the Fourth of July.

In the past, Rihanna has appeared as herself in television series such as "Saturday Night Live," "My Super Sweet 16," and "Punk'd."
