Russell Brand Katy Perry $5.6 Million Home Settled

Russell Brand has surrendered his interest in the $5.6 million home he and Katy Perry purchased while happily married.

The British comedian relinquished his rights to the Los Feliz, Calif. home as means to separate ties from Perry as quickly as possible, reported TMZ.

Perry and Brand's home contains four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and is currently on the market for $3.395 million, according to the LA Times.

Reports indicate that Brand's 25-foot "love teepee" is still on the property and that Perry's custom pink refrigerator is still in the kitchen, but neither will come with the house.

Built in 1922, the property is 4,706 square feet on a .36 acre lot which hosts a pool.

The couple bought the home after their October 2010 marriage which took place in India.

In the past, Brand has divulged that he does not want any of Perry's money and that he hopes the divorce ends amicably.

After 14 months of marriage, Brand released a statement: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Brand recently opened up about his life following the split from Perry, hinting that he feels indifferent.

"I'm doing well," the 36-year-old told People magazine. "You don't need to brush it off if you don't get it on you in the first place."

"I don't have anything to let go. I don't hold onto anything negative. It's not about letting go- you can't let go of something you don't hold, you know. It's meaningless," the "Get Him to the Greek" star continued.

Perry, 27, has remained busy with her career since the split. She announced that premiere of her documentary, "Katy Perry: Part of Me in 3-D" will take place this summer on the Fourth of July.

The singer explained more about the film in a recent interview with MTV News.

"This film, you're going to see if from my best friend/buddy perspective, you're going to see exactly what I mean and feel and think about everything," said Perry.
