Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus Price Set for $474
The Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus was recently released by Samsung in Taiwan and will begin launching in other nations in the near future.
The handset is currently available only in blue and is also expected to be released in white sometime next month. The smartphone is priced at 13,900 TWD, which is equivalent to $474.
The Galaxy S2 will also come in two different versions with one of them packing an NFC chip. The S2 Plus also runs Android 4.1.2, has 8GB of internal memory, a 4.3-inch display with 480 x 800 resolution, and a 1GHz dual-core processor.

This is the second "Plus" variant that Samsung has released in its Galaxy S line. The company also launched the Galaxy S Plus not too long ago.
The Galaxy S2 Android 4.1, JellyBean update has already started rolling out for various carriers throughout the world.
The software will bring a New TouchWiz UI to the smartphone along with a redesigned keyboard, improved functionality for NFC connections, Google Now integration, and expandable notifications.
Samsung also stated that it will be available for the Galaxy Note at the same time. The software actually leaked at the end of last month in the form of a new ROM.
This new firmware appeared for installation in XDA-Dev threads and packs some of the latest features now available to those using the official build of JellyBean.
The official firmware is currently in test mode and its build number is I9100XXLSJ. It is expected to be rolled out in the very near future. This new leaked version is said to be pretty close to Samsung's when it finally is released for the Galaxy S2.
The leaked firmware's features include TouchWiz with Direct Call, AllShare Play, notification bar enhancements, S-Cloud, Pop Up Play and Google Now.
