Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence Dating? 'That's Very Funny,' Says Cooper

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are not dating, according to both actors, who have adamantly denied rumors that surfaced following their joint appearance at the Golden Globes.

"Oh my God. That's very funny," Cooper said during one interview, when asked if he was dating Lawrence. "No, my God. No."

Cooper also suggested that he and Lawrence, 22, had been working together for a while, and nothing had happened so nothing would.

"We've done two movies together. If it didn't happen by now, it's not going to happen," he told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet.

Lawrence split from boyfriend Nicholas Hoult last week after a 2-year relationship. Cooper and Lawrence appeared close Sunday night at the Golden Globes, attending as co-stars for "Silver Linings Playbook."

"No, no, no, no, no. Not even close. First of all, I could be her father. No, I'm kidding. But no, not even close," Cooper, 38, told ET.

Cooper is also recently single after splitting from Zoe Saldana for the second time just before the Christmas holidays began.

"I love her to death," Cooper said of Lawrence, according to Us Magazine. "She's amazing, but no."

It appears that Cooper spent a good part of the night actually denying that he was dating Lawrence, although the two sat close through the award ceremony. Cooper and Lawrence will also star together in the upcoming film "Serena."

Apparently Lawrence did not make any of the denials herself until approached by reporters with Cooper's comments.

"True," she said when Entertainment Weekly asked the "Hunger Games" star of Cooper's comments. "I agree. I concur."

A number of fans applauded Cooper for acknowledging the pair's notable age difference.

"He had a good head on his shoulders," one user prompted on a Yahoo blog.
