Emmy Nominations 2013 Full List: 'House of Cards,' 'Game of Thrones' and 'Downton Abbey' Lead Nominations

The nominations for the 2013 Emmy Awards were released on Thursday morning and have already created speculation over who will get the top honors as well as which shows and television personalities got snubbed this year.

There has been much attention focused on Netflix original series "House of Cards," which has been nominated for 9 awards-- the most ever for a online original series. It has raised the question over whether or not the future of television programming may lie online.

The awards ceremony will be televised live on Sept. 22 and will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
