Kanye West Pleads For Removal Of Leaked Video
Kanye West, the 36-year-old rapper who recently released his sixth studio album "Yeezus" is pleading with websites to take down a leaked video for his song "BLKKK SKKKN HD" which he claims is not the final edit.
While West is known for his rants, the rapper took to Twitter to plead with people to avoid posting the leaked version of his music video after months of hard work to create visuals for his song. West revealed that the video leak was heartbreaking for him.
"The BLKKK SKKKN HD video that leaked yesterday was not the official version," West tweeted Tuesday. "Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it's heartbreaking when something like this happens."
The rapper said that the official video will be ready within the next week and pleaded for websites to take the leaked version down.
"So any website that may have the unapproved / unfinished ruff. I ask you to please take it down, "West tweeted. "Allow me and Nick to give the world what we've been losing sleep over. And to whoever leaked the video… (expletive) YOU!"
The video that has been making it's rounds on the internet is a black and white piece that is over three minutes long. Although West is pleading with people to allow him to showcase his full creative vision, just weeks ago he was insisting that he is not interested in people understanding his art.
"Honestly at this point, I could give a (expletive) about selling a million records as long as I can put out an album for the summer that y'all can rock to all (expletive) summer," West told his audience at the Governor's Ball music festival last month. "At this point, I don't really give a (expletive) about outside opinions."
