Kris Jenner to Manage 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Stars?

Kris Jenner is reportedly eager to manage the Thompson family, which stars in its very own reality TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo." Despite previous reports that she had allegedly criticized the TLC show as being classless, she allegedly wants to get in touch with the down-to-earth clan.

The 56-year-old Kardashian matriarch, who is renowned for her tenacious money-making tactics, is reportedly trying to convince the Thompson family to meet with her in a bid to discuss their careers and potential plans for professional management, according to Star magazine.

"Kris realized that they could be a gold mine. The Thompsons don't really have any professional representation outside of TLC, and Kris thinks she can get them some serious endorsements and more money from the network," a source reportedly told Star before drawing comparisons to the previously popular TLC reality show "Kate Plus 8." "They're getting a fraction of what Kate Gosselin got."

It was revealed in September that Jenner reportedly believes that June "Mama" Shannon, mother of child star Alana Thompson, does not display good parenting on the popular TLC reality TV show; she was allegedly stunned that the show has become so successful. "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" ratings soared from 2.2 million viewers to almost 3 million viewers in just one month, according to Nielsen.

"To say Kris is not a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is an understatement. She thinks the Thompsons are classless, unlike her family and can't understand why America is so fascinated by them," an insider reportedly told RadarOnline.com.

"The show has become bigger than Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and Kris is starting to feel threatened by its success," the unnamed source went on.

It is unclear what motivated Jenner's alleged desire to manage the Thompson family, considering her reported dislike for their brand. However, a growing number of critics suspect that money is the key factor behind her interest in potentially working for them.

The Thompson family is reportedly paid $8,000 per episode and approximately $80,000 per season in addition to an undisclosed location fee.
