Nick Jonas: Justin Bieber Has To Get Through Season of Growth
Nick Jonas, the 20-year-old singer who once dated Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, is speaking about Bieber's recent issues that have made media headlines.
Recently, Bieber was reportedly kicked out of a Chicago bar for being underage and allegedly urinated in a bucket. Bieber has also been making headlines for his alleged reckless driving habits, aggressive behavior and marijuana use for months.
Jonas appeared on Bravo TV's "Watch What Happens Live" recently to share his thoughts on Bieber's behavior.

"I'd like to think of myself as a man, he's a ... he's a couple years younger," Jonas joked, although he is only one year older than Bieber.
However, he did give more insight into the matter.
"Here's what I'll say is that everyone has to go through a period of growth," Jonas said on the Bravo show. "I think he's in that period now. I wish the best for him 'cause I do think he's a talented person. But he just has to get through a season of growth."
In recent months, a number of other celebrities have spoken up about Bieber's public behavior.
Channing Tatum, the 33-year-old actor spoke about his concerns for Bieber last month.
"I worry about Bieber, man. That kid's wildly talented," Tatum recently told PerezHilton.com "I hope he doesn't fall down into the usual ways of young kids because it's so hard for someone to be responsible when they're not asked to be."
Usher, the 34-year-old singer who serves as a judge on the nationally televised singing competition "The Voice," recently spoke about his protege Bieber, who he helped discover and bring to mainstream success five years ago.
"We hope that in his transition -- as friends and family who have helped him be who he is -- that he will continue to just mature. But in this day's age of social media there is no privacy. That kind of trial and elimination period is done in front of a camera," Usher said on The Ellen DeGeneres show recently. "It's been done and many, many other celebrities have been a product of it. Some come out bad, some come out good. I'm hoping for the best."
