  Sony Working on Concept for Android OS, Beta Testing Ongoing in Sweden

  Sony is currently working on a new concept OS under the project name Concept for Android and the new concept OS is entering its beta phase in Sweden. The company is testing the new OS with a small group of Sony Xperia Z3 owners in the said country. Sony described the new concept OS as a "stripped-down and vanilla version" of the Android 5.1 Lollipop, with a few added features.

This time, it's the 1976 "Logan's Run," a science fiction film about a dystopian society whose way of dealing with overpopulation and its stress on society's resources is to kill citizens by the time they reach the age of 30. The remake has long been in the works, but it recently got a big jumpstart when Warner Bros. found the film a writer.

  As if Hollywood is running out of story ideas, another work of manga is being adapted into a feature film. Gentosha Comics, the Japanese publisher behind the thriller manga series "6000: Rokusen" or "6000: The Deep Sea of Madness" is said to be partnering with All Nippon Entertainment Works and Mike Medavoy, the producer of "Black Swan," to work on the film adaptation of the said series according to a report in Variety.

  Asus is said to be launching the successor of its PadFone S soon, as it is rumored to be available in the market by early 2016, with some reports saying it will be released in March. A Tech Times report point to a specific leaker who shared information via Weibo called @Leaksfly. The leak claimed that the new PadFone, called the PadFone S2 will be unveiled in March 2016.
