Gerard Butler Slip: Brandi Glanville Sorry, Calls Andy Cohen 'Truth Serum'

Gerard Butler denied having a weeklong romance with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville after she revealed the tryst to Andy Cohen. The reality star has now apologized, claiming that Cohen coaxed the truth out of her.

Glanville told Andy Cohen last Tuesday on Bravo's weekly "Watch What Happens Live" that she had been involved with Butler for nearly a week. However, when Butler was later tracked down for comment, he denied he even knew who Glanville was.

"Who's Brandi Glanville?" Gerard asked TMZ cameras later in the week. Glanville now says that the actor is simply shy about his personal life. "He's not super excited. He's super private. I'm not going to talk about it anymore," Brandi told Access after word about Gerard's comment got out.

Glanville even told RumorFix.com that Gerard had called her and explained the incident to her over the phone. "He called me last night and told me he said it," she told the site, referring to the actor saying he did not know who she was.

"He is upset because he is a private person. I don't lie, so I don't really care," the reality star added.

She continued the conversation on her Twitter account, insisting that she was not a liar.

The New House Wives Reunion is set to air Monday night. In an interview with LynnNChicago, Glanville said that five of the original housewives will appear, with an attack already planned on Lisa for poking fun at Adrienne's shoes.

During the interview, Glanville also expressed being sorry for revealing personal details about Butler, explaining that Cohen had a "truth serum" effect on her.

"If there is one thing I regret and would take back, it's that!" Glanville said, recounting her comment to Andy Cohen about her romantic relations to Butler. She then referred to Cohen's mannerisms as "truth serum."

"His eyes get really big and you have to tell him the truth." she told LynnNChicago.

However, Glanville said that she also wouldn't be retracting her comments. "One thing I am not is a liar," she. "What am I going to do now, go back and say I lied about it? No, I'm not going to do that!"
