Kelly Osbourne Slams Kate Middleton on Leno for Re-Using Wedding Dress

Kate Middleton, recently awarded a spot on Vanity Fair’s Best-Dressed List, has been rebuked by Kelly Osbourne on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno for recycling her wardrobe.

Osbourne said, “In England they are like look how thrifty she's being, showing the British public that the Royals are in a recession as well.”

She added: “Only in this country they call it a faux pas.”

Osbourne’s outburst comes just days after she criticized Christina Aguilera for being overweight, and it seems her outspokenness on others is showing no signs of abating.

Speaking about Kate Middleton recently attending Zara Phillip’s wedding in a dress she had worn before, Osbourne said: “Well I'm sorry but if I had that job I would only wear it once.

“If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm going to wear that dress once because I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy, at least I can get a new dress every day.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has been showing her more modest-side recently; as well as “recycling” a dress to the “other royal wedding”, she also stunned passengers with Prince William when they chose to fly back from Zara Phillip’s Scotland wedding using a cheap budget airline rather than a private jet.

Modest royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton boarded a Flybe plane with other passengers in Edinburgh for the hour-long journey to Manchester.

Reports have indicated that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge flew with bodyguards but used the regular checking-in and security procedures as the rest of the other passengers.

Flybe does not even have a separate first class section, and so the royal couple, who married in April, sat alongside other travelers. Flybe does offer an option to travelers to upgrade to “Economy Plus” which is basically the same as regular economy, but offers complimentary drinks and snacks during the flight.

It is believed the royals would have paid about $60 for the one-way flight from Edinburgh to Manchester.
